The BOS battery X features dual CAN-based interfaces for full system interoperability. One channel uses the BOS CANopen protocol for effortless integration with BOS components, while the second is a remotely configurable CAN interface—adaptable via OTA (over-the-air) updates to support custom third-party protocols or evolving system requirements.

Highly advanced smart sensors
The LFP battery is equipped with sensors and detectors. The accelerometers and photosensors add an extra layer of intelligence and safety.
Accelerometers detect movement or impact — useful for transport protection, tamper detection, or event logging.
Photosensors register changes in ambient light inside the housing, helping to identify unauthorized opening or manipulation after the product has left our facility.

Cyber Resilience Act (CRA)

The BOS battery X is developed in accordance with the principles of the IATF 16949 automotive quality system for functional safety in automotive applications. Its design reflects a strong commitment to meeting EU requirements for electrical safety, electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), and environmental protection.

This makes them the safest and most durable lithium cells available today. They deliver exceptionally high cycle life, ensure user safety, and are more environmentally friendly by eliminating the need for cobalt.

The BOS battery X supports continuous charging at a 1C rate, enabling fast and efficient energy replenishment. For short-duration peak demands, it can handle up to 2C for up to 60 seconds, providing additional flexibility for dynamic load scenarios or rapid system recovery.
