IT Advisory Hours Contingent – Product Terms

1.  Product Description

The IT Advisory Hours Contingent provides customers with flexible access to BOS IT advisory expertise to support discovery, workshops, assessments, and informed decision-making, without committing to a full project.

This product is designed as an entry point for collaboration and early engagement.

2.  Scope of Services (Included)

The advisory hours may be used for non-urgent, advisory and consultative activities, including but not limited to:

  • Discovery sessions and requirements clarification
  • IT workshops (e.g. Architecture, Data, Microsoft 365, Dynamics, Fabric, AI)
  • Technical assessments and second opinions
  • Solution scoping and high-level design
  • Governance, compliance, and security guidance
  • Vendor, architecture, and technology discussions
  • Preparation or review of proposals, roadmaps, and solution outlines
  • Review of concepts, architectures, or implementation approaches
  • Ad-hoc expert support and Q&A sessions

The focus of this product is advisory and clarification, not execution.

3.  Out of Scope (Not Included)

The IT Advisory Hours Contingent does not include:

  • 24/7 on-call services
  • SLA-based incident response or guaranteed response times
  • Emergency or critical incident handling
  • Full project delivery or implementation services
  • Software development or configuration work beyond advisory scope
  • Managed services or operational support

Such services, if required, must be agreed separately under a dedicated project, package, or support agreement.

4.  Delivery Model

Services are delivered remote by default (e.g. Microsoft Teams).

Onsite delivery is possible by separate agreement.

Time is tracked in 15-minute increments.

A monthly consumption overview is provided to the customer.

5.  Consultant Allocation

Advisory hours are delivered by BOS IT consultants based on availability and suitability for the requested topic.

The contingent provides access to BOS IT expertise as a service and is not tied to a specific individual consultant.

6.  Commercial Terms

Unit: Hour

List Price: As agreed in the commercial offer

Billing: Invoiced monthly based on actual consumption

Validity:

  • Standard: 6 months from purchase date
  • Extended validity (e.g. 12 months) may apply for larger contingents, if explicitly agreed

Unused hours expire after the validity period and cannot be refunded or transferred unless otherwise agreed in writing.

7.  Transition to Projects or Packages

If the advisory engagement leads to a clearly defined scope, BOS may propose a fixed-price project, package, or retainer.

In such cases, delivery terms and pricing will be governed by the respective agreement.

8.  General

These Product Terms apply specifically to the IT Advisory Hours Contingent and complement the applicable commercial offer and contractual framework between the parties.
