Many caravan and RV owners shy away from upgrading their traditional lead acid battery system to lithium batteries. But why? Because it is expensive, involves replacing the charging systems and adding complex electronics, and expensive installations. Realising this oppotunity, BOS together with Hymer formed a cooperation where BOS would build a plug and play lithium battery solution which is easy to install, does not need any electronics to be replaced or changed, is modular, inexpensive, and made in Germany. From this alliance the LE300 was born. The only battery for caravan application with E1 certification. This certificate allows batteries to be installed in automotive applications in Europe. The LE300 is designed to last more than 10 years, extend the life of lead acid batteries and its battery capacity can be expanded when needed. In the last 5 years of cooperation, the product has been successful in delivering its promises to thousands of campers and caravan owners with over 40,000 LE300 sold.
