The BOS battery X uncompromisingly represents a new generation of high-performance lithium batteries. Developed and manufactured in Germany, it combines maximum power, low weight, and ultimate safety in a compact space, thereby opening up new possibilities as a modern alternative to traditional lead-acid batteries.
A suitable battery holder is required for installation. For multiple batteries, we additionally recommend an MX80 communication cable between the batteries.
Reliable performance with reserves when it counts.
The BOS battery X reliably provides voltage, even when conditions become more demanding. Corrosion-resistant, nickle-plated battery terminals and a robust, IP67-rated housing make it a powerful solution for marine and vehicle applications. It delivers double its rated power for up to one minute, mastering high load peaks with ease. This avoids the need for oversizing solely for performance reasons.
Safety first
The battery management system uses integrated protective circuits to guard against external influences such as overcurrents, short circuits, and deep discharge. Additional temperature sensors at the positive and negative terminals monitor increased contact resistance caused by faulty contact points, while light and acceleration sensors record manipulation and accident events. A flame-retardant housing (UL94 V-0), IP67 protection class, and an integrated Gore membrane for pressure compensation ensure high operational and long-term reliability.
Round cells instead of compromises
Cylindrical LiFePO4 cells are mechanically stable, vibration-resistant, and permanently dimensionally stable. Even with high power output and throughout the aging process, the cell dimensions remain constant, while simultaneously offering good heat dissipation. This ensures high cycle stability, consistent performance, and a long service life.

Winterproof down to -20°C
The battery remains reliably rechargeable even in cold temperatures. The innovative cell heating system warms the lithium cells particularly evenly and gently, which increases their service life. Thanks to a flexibly adjustable heating strategy, performance can be precisely adapted to different system requirements and thus also optimized for use with solar power.
Connected and updatable from the start
The battery that gets along with your system: CAN-ready and factory-equipped with Bluetooth 5.2 LE, LIN, CI-Bus, RV-C, and Victron BMS.Can. Over-the-air updates ensure regular security patches and performance improvements. Cyber security is integrated from the start, with encrypted communication and verified software integrity, compliant with current and future regulations.
Install, expand, done.
The battery can be easily integrated into the standard installation space of a 95 Ah lead-acid battery (BCI Group 49 / DIN H8). Terminals on the top and side provide maximum installation flexibility, designed for busbars as well as cables. This turns existing installation space into an upgrade for more energy and more independence without any detours.
3-year warranty
BOS batteries and electronics are developed and designed for many years of reliable use. Nevertheless, it is good to know that we provide a 3-year manufacturer's warranty on all BOS products.
